Villa Giulia, a splendid example of a Renaissance villa, has since 1889 hosted the Museo delle Antichità Preromane (pre-Roman antiquities). This can now be described as the world's most representative Etruscan museum. Some of the most important Etruscan artistic expressions are here, together with very high-grade Greek creations imported to Etruria between the VIII and IV centuries B.C.
