This museum is sited within a modern structure (inaugurated in 1988) named after archaeologist Paolo Orsi (1859-1935) and located in the Parco Archeologico di Villa Landolina. Distributed over three levels and an overall 12,000 sq.-m, the exhibition illustrates the prehistory and history of almost all the archaeological sites in Central and Eastern Sicily up to the Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Age. The masterpieces include Venus Anadyomene (known as the Landolina venus). www.regione.sicilia.it
