Giovanni Scafuro was born in Naples and trained in the workshops of local artisans: ceramists, smiths and carpenters, from whom he learned the art of manual labor. Today, in his Milan studio, he designs and creates objects for everyday use: lamps, chairs, tables, jewellery; giving new life to recycled items and materials. Rescue and re-use are in fact constants in his continuing process of experimentation. www.giovanniscafuro.it
